Trueman Family Notes

Sam was the manager at Mapperley Colliery so lived in the Colliery House by the yard.  The house was called Park Hall. The colliery was based in the location called Park Hall.   Photographs of the house can be seen in the album, numbers 29, 34 and 39

The Family

Gladys Winifred Trueman nee  Oakden was born 9 January 1899, died 7 January 1984.
Samuel Trueman was born 12 January 1901, died 15 October 1961.  They were married 22 April 1921 at Cinderhill.

Hilary Rosemary Trueman

Occupation: Comptometer Operator and Clerk
Married to: Eric Burrows
Children:  Kathryn Jane, Stephen Patrick, Julie Vanessa
Grandchildren: Peter, Richard, Michael, Emma, Leanne, William, Katie, Sarah
Died: 1986

Frank married Jessie (Mitchell) in 1962 in Ilkeston. They had 7 children: David, Linda, Neil, Diane, Kevan (who died in the fire in 1965), Wayne (who we think had muscular dystrophy and died), and Susan.
