As far as I know the kiln went under two names, the West Hallam Art Pottery and the Peak Pottery. My dad was in fact the last person to run the Peak Pottery as a going concern in the mid 1930s.  After this, the buildings were left empty for many years, some still with the unglazed pots inside them.
