Mandy's Photographs were given to her by her father Don Webster.

Unfortunately he passed away in 2010 in his eighties. He had a great love of history, he was born in Bright Street Cotmanhay in 1927 and Mandy believes that his grandfather worked as a miner in the Shipley pit.  He had a love of Shipley woods and was always telling tales of his and his brother’s adventures and she thinks they spent most of their childhoods there. In fact his brother, Alan, was one of the original team who helped to unearth Shipley Hall in the 1970's.
